JP KREIS privacy policy

Transparent handling of personal data is very important to JP KREIS. This privacy policy provides information on what personal data JP KREIS collects, for what purposes and to whom we pass it on.

1 Processing of personal data

We process the following categories of personal data about you:

  • Contact details such as first name, surname, address, email address, telephone number
  • Correspondence with you and all information that you send us in the course of contact, e.g. appointments, e-mail content
  • Information and orders concerning you that we receive from employers or other third parties, e.g. in the case of coaching provided by your employer
  • Financial and payment data such as payment address, bank details, IBAN for processing payments
  • Technical data in connection with visits to our website and other metadata from emails, online meetings and other applications used by us (IP address, date and time of access, time zone, browser type and version, operating system, language, time of receipt and dispatch, access status, pages accessed, data volume transferred, passwords, etc.).
  • Social media/online activities
  • Image material such as photos and videos, e.g. if you participate in our events
  • Personal data requiring special protection: In the context of coaching and short-term counseling, we may occasionally collect and process information that indicates sensitive data such as your health, privacy, sexual orientation, ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, criminal offenses or criminal convictions.Information and orders concerning you that we receive from employers or other third parties, e.g. in the case of coaching provided by your employer

2 Processing purpose

We use your data to process contracts and to fulfill our legitimate interests, specifically:

  • for coaching and short-term consultations
  • for communication with you
  • to respond to your requests and to provide the services you have requested
  • Payment processing
  • for marketing (e.g. mailings, events) and relationship management
  • for the operation and continuous improvement of our services and infrastructure, including our website
  • to ensure system security and stability

3 Cookies

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are text files that are stored on the operating system of your device with the help of the browser when you visit our website. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain viruses. Some cookies are technically necessary for the website to function. Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them or their term expires. If cookies are deactivated for our website, it may no longer be possible to use all the functions of the website to their full extent.

4 Disclosure of personal data

We process and store most of the data we process with service providers in Switzerland. In exceptional cases, we may also use service providers from the EEA and from another country in the world (conceivable in particular for online services that we use). If this is a country without adequate data protection, we conclude the EU standard contractual clauses in particular, but may also rely on consent or transfer data abroad on a case-by-case basis because it is necessary for the performance of a contract involving data published by you.

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data.

6 Storage of the data

Personal data will be stored for as long as required by legal and contractual retention periods. After the retention period has expired, the personal data is deleted or anonymized.

7 Rights of data subjects

As a data subject, you have the right to know what data we process about you. You also have the right to request the rectification, erasure or restriction of the processing of your data, as well as the right to data portability. These rights exist provided that your request does not conflict with any statutory retention obligations or our own legitimate interests.
